The Basics

Open the Edit view by tapping the Plus button at the top right or a blank row near the end of a Detail view. |
|
To bring up the keyboard for typing, tap anywhere in the workspace. |
|
To insert a quick phrase, position the cursor in a text object first. |
|
|
|
Tap the Back button to go back and any changes made will be saved. |
|
Tap the profile picture assigned to you and replace it with your own. |
|
Tap the Sync button so you can access the contacts on your address book for sharing right away. |

Select the buttons you want from the above toolbar to add the content. |

You have 20 rows of space, up to 250 characters per row. However, the first row must be plain text. If not, a default phrase will appear. |

The Photo button will access the photo albums on your handset and render the chosen ones in thumbnails or slideshows. |

When to sync?

Get the changes made to the Contacts app on your device. |

Import contacts from your email accounts thru iTunes. |

Add newly registered friends and get the latest profile pictures. |

To know which contact to pick from the Recipients list, tap the corresponding Disclosure button and verify the email address in the popup. To select one, tap the Check icon to a solid blue color. |
|
To email a copy to yourself, select your name from the Recipients list on the Share screen. For those who haven't downloaded the app will get your chats and tracks in the email. |
|

When adding a track, you must first pick a folder. Select Today, Events, or Travel if you prefer a Date View to List View and want to be able to search by date. Feel free to change the grouping within the same class. |

Only the authors can edit and share their content. |
|
|

To relocate a list item, toggle the Reorder button to the Check button. Drag the Reorder icon at the end of that item, and drop it at a desired location in as many steps as necessary. Now tap the Check button to save the new priority before moving another list item. |
|
When you're in a group chat, hit Reply to add a chat and then tap Share to send it, hit Plus to add a new topic, or hit Share to send the same chat to another group. To know whom you're talking to, tap Participants. |

Every track is posted to the All list, except those in the Protected category, with color-coded category tags. |

Tap to the right or left to see the next track of the same category. |

You can access the quick phrases of the other seven categories from the current one, except those in the Protected group. |

To scroll to the top fast, tap the status bar at the very top. |

Swipe-to-delete and shake-to-undo are supported in the Detail and Edit views. Tap the Voice-Note icon to stop playing. |

To show the Favorite status on a List view, make the first list item your favorite. |

The Attachment icon displays when the content contains more than a peice of text and a smiliey; the Draft icon disappears when a chat is sent. |

A reminder won't be saved unless you specify a reminder time. The reminders are sorted by due dates on the Open Reminders list and by last-revised dates on the All Reminders list. |

How do I get the new chats or tracks?

How is ChatTrack offered?
|

Tap the Chat or Track icon on the tab bar. After the spinner stops, a badge counter will appear if there is new content. When you tap it, the latest chat will be highlighted on the top, or the All list will open so you can hit the Sort button and bring the latest track to the top. |

The Wi-Fi or network connectivity is required for sharing chats and tracks, and accessing location maps and links to the Internet. |
|
Phone number not required for one-time account setup. |
|
Multitasking and retinal display on compatible devices running iOS 4.1+, and an external mic required for recording on iPod Touch 2nd generation. |

To apply one purchase to multiple iOS devices, you must enter the same email address on the Your ID screen while installing ChatTrack. |

Downloading the app is free, and you get 25-MB bandwidth allowance for sharing on the app. |

To continue sharing the latest with your friends, buy the Plus plan for 150-MB monthly bandwidth allowance at $4.99, or the Pro plan for twice the bandwidth allowance at $9.99. |

How do I insert another row of paragraphs?
|
|
|
|
|
|
Add the new paragraphs to the end of a current chat, track, or reminder, tap the Reorder icon to move it to the desired location, and then tap the Check icon to save your changes. |
|

How do I avoid the photos been sent upside down?
|
|
|
|
|
|
When you take the landscape photos, be sure to hold the device with the Home button on the right. |
